Details A novelty silver pencil modelled as a champagne bottle. The top part of the pencil has been gilded to simulate the gold foil covering the cork and wire, whilst the label is an applied white enamel with black lettering reading 'Louis Roederer Reims - RESERVE'. An unusual piece in excellent condition with no defects.

Details An EXCEPTIONAL and RARE scent bottle by Mordan. Decorated with the figure of a girl sitting on a wall listening to a bird singing. Unusually this piece also has a milestone in front of the wall. Kate Greenaway designs appear on Mordan scent bottles dating between 1882 and 1884. Kate Greenaway (1846 - 1901) was an illustarator of childrens books in the Victorian period and her illustrations typically picture children with animals and birds in the English countryside, almost always on Mordan pieces with a church in the background. This is a rare opportunity to aquire a piece in remarkable conditon and with decoration of literary interest.

Details A RARE Olive Green colored overlay glass scent bottle, of waisted form. The silver top is plain and marked around the collar with the maker 'S. Mordan and Co.'. It is very unusual to find overlay glass scents which bear mounts by this important maker. Excellent condition it retains its original stopper.

Details A RARE Victorian scent bottle by S. Mordan in the form of a horseshoe. Fully marked on the collar and part marked on the cover. Also registration number 61210. The piece shows fire stain to one edge where it is possible it has had a repair along the original seam. Please see photo where this is highlighted. This is even so an exceptionally rare piece and as such is why I am offering it even with minor defect.

Details A very unusual ladle, modelled as a chick hatching from its shell. The mouth and eyes with openings. Excellent condition. Marks rubbed but readable. This model frequently seen as a pincushion and less often as a condiment set, but this is the only example I've ever seen as a ladle.

Details A superb double ended cranberry glass scent bottle by Mordan, unusually for this date it is fully marked on caps and collars. One end being a hinge top and the other a screw cap. The silver ends are exquisitley engraved with scroll design. In my opinion this comes second only to the double ended examples with solid gold mounts by the same maker.
